Mumford and Sons announced as headliners for American Express presents BST Hyde Park 2026
Mumford and Sons are set to return to BST Hyde Park next July.
Mumford and Sons will headline American Express presents BST Hyde Park on Saturday 4 July 2026, marking a decade since their last appearance on the Great Oak Stage.
The War On Drugs are confirmed as special guests, with more performers to be announced. Tickets go on sale Thursday, December 4 at 10am here.
The folk rock group - who have worked with the likes of Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and Neil Young - will have some new music by then, with new album Prizefighter set for release on February 13. Recorded with producer Aaron Dessner at Long Pond Studio, it features guest contributions from Hozier, Gracie Abrams, Chris Stapleton and Gigi Perez. The record follows their 2025 UK chart-topping album RUSHMERE, and their sold-out international arena tour.
In a statement, the London band said returning to Hyde Park “feels incredibly special".
The I Will Wait hitmakers said: “Hyde Park is woven into our story, it’s where so many memories were made. Coming back a decade later, with all this new music, feels incredibly special. London is and always will be the band’s home. We can’t wait.”
The 2026 show will cover material from across their catalogue, including new tracks expected to be performed live for the first time.
AEG Presents CEO Jim King said the band’s previous Hyde Park headline set was “a milestone for BST” and called their return “a moment we’re incredibly proud of.”
He added: “Their last Hyde Park show was a milestone for BST. Having them return at this moment in their career is something we’re incredibly proud of.”
